Girls & the City members love La Palapa and Cacao Lane -- so there's no better place to be this Friday night as they take on historic Ellicott City.

Thu, Jun 21, 2007 - Third Thursday
Third Thursday is a monthly reoccurring event for new and repeat members alike to get to know one another and ask questions about the organization. This month will be at Towson's Bahama Breeze restaurant sipping on cocktails and dining on Caribbean fare.

Bring your pooch as GATC heads to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, before going to Muddy Paw Wash, then Sly Fox for a little food.

GATC's D.C. book club meets for the second time this year at the National Arboretum in D.C. to discuss Brenda Jackson's Howard University-based novel.

Enjoy the tunes of Sons of Pirates, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, for free at the nicest lake in Columbia. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy during the live performance.

About Girls & the City

Catering mainly to young professional women, GATC offers member benefits including: pre-planned social events, online networking, premium online content, and special offers to area businesses.

Girls & the City was founded on the premise that it's intimidating to meet other female friends no matter whether "the new girl in town" or just looking to branch out one's "circle of friends."
