Miami Beach Mayor Matti Herrera Bower Reinstates "Mayor on the Move" to bring City Hall into the Neighborhoods for Community Outreach Meetings

(PRWEB) March 14, 2008 -- Mayor Matti Bower keeps her promise to hear the voice of the people in Miami Beach, Florida by reinstating the "Mayor on the Move" program which brings Miami Beach's City Hall into the local neighborhoods for community outreach meetings.

The first "Mayor on the Move" program will be held on Monday March 17 at 6:00 PM at the Miami Beach Hispanic Community Center located at 1701 Normandy Drive.

"All residents and businesses are invited to attend and let their concerns be heard", proclaims Bower.

Additionally, "it's important to bring the Mayor's Office into the different neighborhoods to listen to the ideas and concerns of residents and businesses. We are also bringing City staffers and, of course, all the commissioners are invited to attend," said Mayor Bower.

Beginning in March, "Mayor on the Move" will be a monthly program. "With so much activity happening throughout the City, I believe this is the best way to hear what we are doing right or how we can do it even better," said the Mayor.
