Local NJ Retail Gift Store Launches Global E-Commerce Website
Livingston, NJ (PRWEB) March 24, 2008 -- Before you spend hours driving around to malls and stores to find that perfect gift for that hard to please someone, take a look at the new online gift website at http://www.GreetsAndTreats.com. Greets and Treats, a local family-owned business offering unique gift ideas and gift baskets, announced today the launch of their new e-commerce storefront.
"We've got gift ideas for everyone, from babies to tweens and their mothers and fathers, as well as presents for weddings and graduations," says Larry Silverman, owner of the Greets and Treats retail outlet in Livingston, New Jersey. The store has been operating since 1998 and is run by Larry and Patty Silverman, and their son Peter.
"We decided to take all our product collections, like Lifeguard Press, Mudpie, and Stonewall Kitchen, and offer them online for people to buy and ship as gifts to anywhere," says Peter, who is in charge of running the new website. "We're unique, and we're real. You're not ordering from a ghost, all orders are filled right here in our retail store."
Peter says he got the idea to open an online store after receiving so many requests from customers to do so. He credits this in a large part to his mother, Pat Silverman, who's in charge of selecting products for the store to sell.
"My mom is considered one of the best gift buyers in the state. Just go to the gift show in New York, and watch the fellow buyers follow her around just to see what she is buying for the store," says Peter.
"We listen to what our customers want," says Pat Silverman. "We stay trendy and ahead of our competitors, so we always have some unique new gift ideas to offer."
Pat also creates her famous one-of-a-kind gift baskets for the store, which she is also now offering on the website. These gift baskets can be ordered as advertised, or customers can customize them online to include any products they like.
Greets and Treats offers thousands of products from hundreds of vendors, including Lifeguard Press, Thymes, Ganz, Two's Company, Mindy Weiss Signature, and Coton Colors. The retail store is located at 277 Eisenhower Parkway, in Livingston, NJ.
